An international literary magazine that publishes art, poetry, and prose created by secondary school students. Its purpose is to use art and the medium of creative writing to demonstrate that despite linguistic, cultural, ethnic and racial differences, teenagers around the world share the same hopes, fears, interests and concerns. This project received an award from Columbia University for Best High School Publication in the United States two years in a row. Currently, A Vision is coordinated by students and teachers in Lebanon, Pakistan, and the Philippines. Earlier it was coordinated in Bulgaria and USA. Check out the "A Vision 2008" project website: http://www.iearn.org/avision, compiled by a team of teacher and student facilitators from the Makati Science High School in the City of Makati, Philippines."
