Description: Join the National Children’s Museum in a global partnership using the arts, writing and journalism to create an animated public service announcement or call to action in one of six areas of engagement:  the environment, health and well-being, play, the arts, civic engagement, and global neighborhood.

Facilitators and students in each classroom will communicate online to:

--brainstorm around the common themes to determine the framework for the messaging the participants will develop
--inventory the creative assets and core strengths each classroom brings to the project
-- align resource availability with task items by classroom to ensure participatory balance of the project

Through first person narratives, photographs, drawings, sound recordings, and other media exchanged through snail mail, e-mail, and file transfer protocol (ftp) classrooms will share ideas and animation components.  Layers, sets, backgrounds, and other elements contributing to a finished animation product will be exchanged openly as part of the collaborative process.
