Title: Eye To Eye Project

Summary: A project that sponsors the creation of postcard size images to an online gallery which is dedicated the ideals of friendship and understanding through visual communication.

Description: Eye to Eye encourages the creation of postcard size images that become part of coordinated Spring exhibitions hosted around the world. This year live video exchanges and conferencing will be added to support the the ideals of friendship and understanding through visual communication. Check out the Eye to Eye website for a virtual gallery of student work! NOTE: If you join the project after the start date feel free to create postcard themes at any time during the year. We need to have the following information from you: Your name, school name, location, email address, school website, number of students participating, and grade levels.

  • Contributions: 1. The students will develop online communication skills through postings to the project website, email, discussion boards, possible chats and video conferences. 2. The students will develop an understanding of other cultures and countries through visual communication. 3. The students will learn how to plan and enact an EYE TO EYE Friendship Exhibition. 4. The students and teachers will develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of our Global Family.
