Summary: Empowering children at the maximum ages of eighteen [18]) years in Sierra Leone and around the world for a brighter feature.
Description: The Empowering Children Project is giving chance to young people who cannot afford the cost of learning, especially media technology in Sierra Leone. Sierra Leone is an extremely poor country that had suffered from a brutal and senseless ten years civil war, mark by depression, merciless destruction and the use of children as child soldiers. Thousand of children with bright talent were totally abused and more over a great number of them are still displaced. A significant number of them are still very determined to continue their education. A lot of young children with creative skills are determine to put the past behind them and actively work towards a brighter future. How ever, these children have to find a way to acquire education conforming to standards of decency and professional skills, before coming in to contact with youth unemployment which is highly intimidating. In this project, participants will engage in a range of activities to develop their skills and confidence to succeed in professional life.

- Contributions: Participants worldwide are encouraged to share their stories and there would be an exchange of idea and experiences with their colleagues around the world, through the interaction with their friends on the internet. The children would share their activities pictures, Art works, and short films documentaries as a means of showing their colleagues in the world the good work their doing
- Outcomes: According to the aims and objectives of this project, our main concern is to see that all children enjoy a good and a brighter future. It also will help minimize the growing juvenile crime rates in Sierra Leone and other countries. Furthermore it is our utmost concern to enroll these children in to a professional learning exercise and other creative activities skills such as technology training, Art works, improve access to internet to interact with their collogues world view. With this in mind, a good number of these children would in the near future earn a responsible position in society. The children will be able to share their sad experiences during the past 10 years civil war in Sierra Leone with their colleagues in other parts of the world through the internet to enable children to exchange their ideas and experiences, and share strategies for success.
