Collaboration Centre

As part of the Personal, Social and Health Education curriculum, 15 girls at St Marylebone CE Girls School in Central London are making a documentary about care in the community. They have divided into 3 groups in order that they can look at care over three generations; the elderly, adults and children. The first group have found an old lady that one of the students lives near, and they have sought her permission to spend a day with her at her old people's home. The second group are focusing on a group of neighbours who have formed a Guardian Angel Citizen Group to protect the community from crime. They want to film a day in the life of one of the Guardian Angels. The third group are focusing on a Youth Club on a tough housing estate in Kilburn which provides the only refuge for fighting youths from the South and North side of the estate.
