The National Children's Museum: Students Exploring Animation.
In this class presented through NCM's Museum Without Walls, students at Stuart-Hobson Middle School learn the principles of animation and use professional equipment to produce short animated films. During the year students create a story, design characters, and animate their story. The goal is to empower children to create their own vision and to express their creativity in a short animated film. This program encourages students to work collaboratively while stimulating their creativity and critical thinking skills, as well as technical, artistic, and storytelling talents. We welcome you view animation created by the 5th-8th graders of the National Children's Museum’s Students Exploring Animation program.
